TO SAVE A LIFE WEEK 2011
Join the movement. Save lives!
September 4-11, 2011

Teens today are hurting more than ever. Some lash out at the pain visibly. Others hide it beneath the surface. But every teen needs to know he or she matters! You can bring help and hope to hurting teens around you by joining NATIONAL TO SAVE A LIFE WEEK

TO SAVE A LIFE offers real hope for real teen life. It's the movie that has literally saved lives and inspired millions! Don't just take our word for it – Read more than 3,000 real stories here! See why it's the most youth-leader-endorsed movie of all time and why more than 10,000 churches have used it for outreach. (And while we’re throwing out impressive numbers—why there are more than 390,000 Facebook fans.)

During the week of September 4-11, we are challenging thousands of youth groups, teen ministries, schools and churches to invite teens, parents, teachers, administrators and ministry leaders to watch the film and put its life-changing principles to work in their communities.

You can be part of this important movement by hosting a Movie Event in your community, church, home or school! It's the perfect way to launch the new school year. And the difference you make can save a life!

It's easy to get started...

STEP1: Show the Movie

  • If you are a church, ministry or school — order a Movie Event Licensed DVD (for showings in a public location) and plan a Movie Event outreach to your community. Invite everyone who works with or loves teenagers to see the film. We can help — your license includes a Movie Event Planning Guide packed with tips and advice for planning, promoting and implementing a successful event.
  • If you are an individual — get the Home Entertainment DVD and host a house party to show it to your teens and their friends. Use tools such as these free conversation cards and follow-up study guides to help your teens get talking about the important themes in the movie. Also encourage your pastor and youth leaders to show the movie to the church and youth group.

STEP2: Empower your teens

Get them involved in your TO SAVE A LIFE WEEK outreach efforts, from planning to hosting. And get them going on their own to host home viewing parties and to spread hope throughout their schools. Send them to ToSaveALifeMovie.com for tips.

  • Read thousands of firsthand stories of real lives changed. Here are some samples…

“I thought about killing myself. I cut. … My life is just messed up. This movie helped me a lot in realizing that my life is worth living and that there are many people who care about me. And committing suicide would just be the easy way out. So thank you all who made this movie 'cause it literally saved my life.” –"Debra"

“I thought the movie would have a cheezy predictable plot like other Christian movies I've seen. Instead, I was brought to tears when I saw it. It is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It was also emotional for me because I was suicidal for a few months of my life. Praise God for a group of supportive people who brought me out of that stage in my life. This movie needs to be shown to kids, Christian or not, everywhere.” –Hanna

“This is what all youth ministries have been waiting for and what every youth ministry needs! It's nothing short of amazing!” –Damien
